Larry Tamanini is an American jazz guitarist and composer. He is the leader of the Larry Tamanini Group and is also involved in duets, solo works, and other side projects. Tamanini’s style is a blend of bebop, blues, and fusion.

Larry plays guitar from the point of view of the many jazz legends and icons that he has performed with while bringing a new perspective and incisive style to the history of great jazz guitarists from Philadelphia. With an immediately identifiable tone trained on jazz classics, blues, and his own unique tone, Larry combines the best aspects of vintage sounds with his own material to thrilling effect.
